Japan, 1426, Kozuki Sasuke hunts down the man that murdered his wife. The murderer, like Sasuke is a skilled shinobi (ninja), but hails from Sasuke's rival school, Iga.
Along the way, Sasuke meets the beautiful ronin, Takahara Yuki. Together, they travel across medival Japan. From Kyoto to the northern island of Hokkaida.
Yet, like anything, there are greater things than one man's revenge.

Plot
"The Kozuki Sasuke Chronciles" takes place in medival Japan. It follows the story of a young shinobi, named Kozuki Sasuke, as he hunts down the man that killed his wife. He is accompianed by a young female ronin (masterless samurai) named Takahara Yuki. Sasuke is very tight-lipped about his past, especially the night of his wife's death, and he's vague at best about the man that killed her and his own connections to the murderer.

Sasuke's World
Sasuke's Japan is a fictious and a slight fantasy version of medival Japan. All, places and locations are pretty much the same. Though the northern part of the country is refered in the story, as "spirit country" due to the strong presents of spiritual energies that have long since vanished from the rest of the country. In Sasuke's Japan, there is an Emperor, who is a mysterious figure that rules over Japan. Serving under the Emperor are countless daimyos (lords) with samurai and shinobi (better known as ninja) at their command.
Sasuke hails from two of the most promidant ninja schools at the time. He's a Koga ninja, meaning he comes from the Koga region and has trained at their ninja school. Sasuke is skilled in assassination and espenoage. Like many warriors of this peirod Sasuke is also a skilled swordsman and martial artist.
Among Sasuke's world there are two types of "unquie" people mixed among the normal people. People with black eyes and people with silvery-white eyes.
The gods of Japan's Shinto religion are also very real in Sasuke's world, sometimes appearing before selected mortals at the gods' choosing.
